Summit comes together for victims of Pittsburgh synagogue shooting
The names of the 11 people killed in Saturday’s attack on the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh were read aloud as 11 leaves were removed from a tree during a vigil service Monday at Lord of the Mountains Lutheran Church in Dillon.
Pastor Liliana Stahlberg and Jackie Balyeat, president of Synagogue of the Summit led the service, which was organized by the Summit Colorado Interfaith Council and offered prayers, hymns and remarks from leaders of different faiths. It was well attended.
