Summit Community Care Clinic launches new brand & website

Daily News staff report

Summit Community Care Clinic launched a new logo, brand and website last week, all meant to be more warm and welcoming.According to designer Wilson Lass, after visiting the clinic and meeting patients and supporters, he created “a logo that was casual and inviting while capturing the hands-on approach of the clinic.”The website was updated to have a humanistic feeling, instead of sterile and medical, and the new marketing materials have “warm-and-inviting” imagery. Lass worked mostly through an in-kind donation.”This new look is a great expression of what we do, and we are so honored by this contribution from Wilson Lass,” said Sarah Vaine, the clinic’s executive director. “Our new brand is a great update and coincides with exciting changes at SCCC.”The care clinic was founded in 1993 as a one-night-a-week, walk-in clinic providing acute medical care. Since then, the range of services offered has expanded and the clinic’s role in the community’s health care needs has grown. Visitors to the clinic mention they are unaware of all the services, which led to the creation of a new marketing strategy.
