Summit Community Orchestra to perform its Spring Concert on May 20

The Summit Community Orchestra will host its Spring Concert on Tuesday, May 20, from 7-8 p.m. at Theatre SilCo in Silverthorne. There will be 13 pieces performed, led by conductor Jason Rodon. Summit High School senior Dominic Smallwood will perform the first movement of Capuzzi’s “Double Bass Concerto,” according to a news release from the orchestra. The concert is free.
Summit Community Orchestra provides local musicians of all skill levels the opportunity to exercise their talents in a community orchestra setting, supports instrumental music programs in local public schools and performs locally, according to the organization’s mission statement.
