Summit County Animal Shelter says thanks

Donna Taylor Corcel, Summit County Animal Control and Shelter

Summit County Animal Shelter would like to thank all the people who came and gave their time and energy to help on Make A Difference Day. We had over 25 volunteers cleaning, mopping/sweeping, putting adoption bags together, and playing with the kittens. It was incredible! Thank you!

The shelter would also like to publicly thank Joe Dudley, from Alpine Rock Co. for donating rocks, his equipment and time along with his family – Alice, Sean, Scott, Sara, Hanna, Brandon Riddle, Scott Speer, Laurie and Bill Schwanitz. This crew helped remove old stinky rocks and replaced them with new rocks in our upper and lower dog pens. Incredible hard work and such generosity for the equipment use and rocks. Joe used a cement truck to drop the rocks into the pen – a fabulous idea we thought (wheelbarrows do take a while). Thank you so much Joe … no pun intended, but you rock!
