The FIRC Bag Shop will be open today from 1-4 p.m. in Suite 22 of La Riva Mall in Dillon. The bags are made by volunteers out of donated material and 100 percent of sales are used to support the Family & Intercultural Resource Center’s emergency assistance program. The town of Frisco’s sustainable business program is now accepting a limited number of business. Go to http://www.highcountryconservation.org/FriscoCleanTracks.htm to sign up. Businesses receive a $200 cash stipend toward a green project, a free energy audit and free sustainability audit. This program is designed to support and recognize businesses that are doing good things for the environment.

As an Ice Princess candidate, you are asked to collect as many votes for yourself as possible. For a valid vote you need $1 for every vote. The Ice Princess candidate with the most money (most votes) will be crowned the 2013 Summit County Rotary Ice Princess.Ice Princess candidates are nominated by local residents, Rotarians or themselves.
