Summit County: Family Wellness Center seeking applications for board of directors

Daily News staff report

The Family Wellness Center has been making high-impact investments in Summit County through providing access to high-quality mental health services to children and families at an affordable rate since 2008. The FWC does more than just provide mental health services at a reduced rate, the staff and volunteers are part of changing the future for children and families in Summit County by creating long-term effects in the lives of others. The FWC is dedicated to supporting children’s optimal mental health through: training and educating mental health clinicians, training and educating families and teachers, and offering quality mental health services that are accessible and affordable. With new opportunities for growth by providing expanded services, the FWC is now looking for the right people to join its board of directors. Resumes and letters of interest are due by Friday. If you are interested in serving on the board of directors, contact Sophie Berkley, program director at or call (970) 668-3341.
