Summit County man, James Baker, dies following heart attack

James Baker, a 60-year-old man who recently moved to Summit County from Colorado Springs, died Sunday of a heart attack. According to the Summit County coroner, Baker was shoveling snow at a residence in Keystone Sunday when he alerted the homeowner that he wasn’t feeling well. He was transported to Summit Medical Center in Frisco and then via ambulance down to St. Anthony Central in Denver. He was pronounced dead at the emergency room there at 5:30 p.m. Sunday.

The coroner said Baker had significant medical history and the manner of death is natural. The exact cause of death is pending medical chart review.
