BRECKENRIDGE – The Summit County Mountain Bike Alliance will host trail work days Saturday, Sept. 5 and Saturday, Sept. 12 on the Miners Creek Trail.

The work will consist of helping the Forest Service cut a new hand-built trail high in the Alpine on a favorite descent of local mountain bikers. Tools will be provided.

Volunteers are asked to bring a bike helmet, riding glasses, a facial covering and work gloves. Long pants and closed-toed shoes are recommended. Beverages will be provided at the end.

On both Saturdays, volunteers will meet at the Miners Creek Trailhead on Miners Creek Road in Breckenridge at 9 a.m. The work days will conclude at 2 p.m.
