Summit County; Nominate an outstanding community member today

Know a board member, volunteer or organization that is exemplary in their contributions to the community? The Summit Foundation is currently accepting nominations for The Summit Foundation Philanthropy Awards. The annual awards recognize outstanding philanthropic and volunteer contributions in 10 categories.

The categories are Outstanding Philanthropist, Outstanding Volunteer, Outstanding Board Member, Outstanding Educator, Outstanding Professional in a Nonprofit Organization, Outstanding Youth, Outstanding Youth Mentor, Outstanding Citizen, Outstanding Nonprofit Organization and Outstanding Business.

Nomination forms and criteria are available from Wells Fargo Bank’s Summit County branches, The foundation website, under the “Events” tab or by calling the foundation at (970) 453-5970. This is the community’s opportunity to recognize, highlight, and thank those who have demonstrated outstanding support and community involvement. Applications will be accepted through noon on Friday, Oct. 14.
