Summit County nutrition-advocacy group launches healthy eating contest for holiday season

The Physical Activity and Nutrition Team of the Summit, a county-based organization that promotes access to nutrition education, is launching its annual healthy eating challenge over the holiday season.

Now in its 11th year, the challenge has residents — in teams of two to six — seek to stay healthy during the holidays by completing challenges and accessing tips and tricks. Registration costs $15 per team member, money that will go toward prizes for the challenges as well as future events from the organization hosted in Summit elementary schools.
