On Friday, May 8, Summit County announced that the Tenmile Canyon and the Swan Mountain sections of the recpath system have been cleared of snow and debris.

With the opening of the Swan Mountain section, recpath users can now complete the full loop around Dillon Reservoir. The opening of Tenmile Canyon allows users to travel all the way to Copper Mountain.

Summit County officials warn that early-season conditions are highly variable and to exercise caution. All the other sections of the Summit County Recpath have been plowed and swept for the season besides Fremont Pass and Vail Pass.
