Summit County: Police looking for dark Chevy pickup, want parents’ help

Daily News staff report

Local law enforcement officials have asked for support from Summit School District parents. They are attempting to contact the owner of a dark-colored Chevy pickup truck, Colorado license plate 176 PGV. This vehicle was reported seen in the vicinity of both Breckenridge Elementary and Summit High School last week. While the vehicle is not thought to be of immediate concern to students, Breckenridge police and the Summit County Sheriff’s Office request parents be on the lookout for this vehicle as law enforcement would like to speak with the driver. If you spot this truck, please call 911. Contact Summit School District’s emergency response coordinator Travis Avery at (970) 368-1017 with questions.
