Summit County Preschool will hold its sixth-annual Breakfast with Santa, presented by Copper Mountain, on Saturday, Dec. 14, at Backcountry Brewery in Frisco.
The event will start at 8:30 a.m. with a full breakfast buffet of eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes and French toast, as well as cereal, oatmeal and more and a cash bar. Santa arrives at 9 a.m. to read “’Twas the Night Before Christmas,” hear children’s Christmas wishes and spread holiday cheer and will say goodbye at 11 a.m. Photos of this year’s Santa visit will be taken at the event by Karin Osterloh, of Foto Mattern. Photos will be available for purchase online by Tuesday, Dec. 17.
This year, there will be four decorated live Christmas trees available via silent auction. Each preschool class has worked to bring inspirations of their favorite Christmas stories to life with decorations galore. One-of-a-kind ornaments handmade by five local artisans will also be available for $15 each. Each comes with free personalization as the perfect way to remember the event and your 2013 Christmas.
Child care is a much-needed service in the Summit County community. Summit County Preschool is the only child care facility in Frisco and offers programs for kids up to 5 years old. The annual event has created holiday memories for all ages, while raising necessary funds for the nonprofit Summit County Preschool.
Major sponsors this year include presenting sponsor Copper Mountain, as well as the town of Frisco, Backcountry Brewery, The Steadman Clinic, Grand Lodge on Peak 7, Division 7 Insulation, Mountain Comfort Furnishings, Foote’s Rest Sweet Shoppe and many more.
