Summit County real estate at a glance

Land sales to date in Summit County are still probing the depths of

demand. There have been almost exactly the same number sold to date

as last year, 32 total, and the average price is up about 10% due

mostly to two sales for over $1 million this year. Lenders continue

to hinder new construction and hence the land market. At some point

these guys will have to let go of some of that money.

There were 2726 properties for sale last week and nearly 500 lots for sale.

Two bedroom ski-in/ski out at Blue Sky in Breckenridge at $720,000 ;

37 percent of original list price.
