Summit County: Rotary Ice Melt Contest under way

Daily News staff report

This year’s Rotary Ice Melt Contest is bigger and better than ever.

Enjoy the slow drama of the Ice Melt Device going bottoms up out on Dillon Reservoir, the satisfaction of giving back to Summit County and the world through Rotary projects, or just the excitement of possibly winning $100,000.

The contest is under way and will be until April 24. The website is http://www.dillonicemelt.com. There you will find all of the details needed to make your guesses of when the device will fall through the ice – 25 years of dates and times, the official rules, and how to purchase tickets.
