Summit County: Seniors taking donations for annual rummage sale

The Summit Seniors are taking donations for the 24th annual Gigantic Rummage Sale and Silent Auction to be held Thursday through Sunday at the Summit Community and Senior Center, 0083 Nancy’s Place, Frisco.

Silent auction items needed are automobiles, boats, fur coats and collectibles. To donate, contact Evie Lau at (970) 468-2857 or email evieoconnor@comcast.net. Donations of clean and good condition rummage will be accepted at the center from noon to 5 p.m. on Tuesday and 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday. Please don’t leave items prior to those times. Large appliances, large furniture, TVs, computers without monitors, encyclopedias or magazines cannot be accepted.

The event will open with a special presale from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday. A donation of $10 per person will be charged for the pre-sale hours only. All sale proceeds benefit charitable organizations serving seniors in Summit County. To apply for these funds or for additional information, call (970) 668-2940.
