Summit County: The Living Classroom Summer Internship for a SHS student

The High Country Conservation Center (HC3) is looking for a local high school student to participate in the 2011 The Living Classroom Summer Internship Program. HC3 has partnered with Summit Landscaping to offer a $1,000 scholarship and summer internship for an outstanding SHS student or home-schooled high school student that is interested in urban farming, community gardens and growing food. A student will be selected for the new program to work 15 hours a week for eight weeks starting the week of June 20-Aug. 12. On completion of the eight-week internship, the student will receive a $1,000 scholarship for the college of their choice.
