Summit County weather report: Return of winter, 4–10 inches expected
February 23, 2017
After a long hiatus of spring-like days, winter has returned. Today we can expect periods of moderate snow lasting overnight and into Friday. There will be a brief break, then more snow to come Saturday evening.
The resorts along the corridor can expect 4-8 inches or 5-10 inches from Thursday morning through Friday night.
Roads will likely remain under an ice and snow mix, so expect closures and slower travel speeds.
Winter returns to the I-70 corridor, with colder temps and off-and-on periods of heavy snow through early next week. https://t.co/QBOqu3MPMZ
