Summit County weather report: Upwards of six inches predicted by Tuesday
Open Snow is predicting heavy to moderate snow through Monday morning before light snow takes over through Monday night. Most resorts in the I-70 corridor can expect between 3-6 inches of snow by Tuesday morning.
Expect slower travel speeds due to icy and snow-packed road surfaces. Traction law has been in effect on I-70 since early this morning. Tuesday we will see clear skies. Chances for snow return this weekend.
So far, Beaver Creek is leading in snowfall count with three inches by the time the lifts opened this morning.
