Summit Cove woman found dead in snow

SUMMIT COVE – A Swan Meadow Village resident found in the snow Friday morning was pronounced dead at the Summit Medical Center. Foul play is not suspected, according to the Summit County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities suspect 52-year-old Karen Faber fell in the snow sometime Friday morning and lay there until being found at 7 a.m. by a neighbor.

Summit County Ambulance paramedics took the woman to Summit Medical Center. Summit County Coroner Joanne Richardson said the death is possibly alcohol-related. An autopsy will be performed.
