Snowy Peaks High School alum Hannah Lewis celebrated hiking to the summit of Bald Mountain in October 2014 as part of the program's nature and outdoors focus. The nontraditional district high school has hosted an annual fall "Snowy Peaks Challenge" day where students are tasked with summiting a local hike.
