An Adams County School District 12 bus rests more than 60 feet from where it slammed into a Mitsubishi Eclipse at a red light on Oct. 5, 2012, in Westminster. Three people, including a student on the bus, were injured. Since 2011, more than 1,500 school bus crashes have occurred in Colorado — an average of two bus crashes a day during the school year, a 9Wants to Know investigation found.
