The Summit Express ski lift near River Run Village at Keystone Resort is operational again, according to a Sunday, Feb. 2 social media post by the resort. The lift was forced to shut down on Saturday, Jan. 25, due to an electrical issue.

Keystone communications manager Max Winter said on Tuesday, Jan. 29 that the electrical issue affected the lift’s brake pump motor, forcing the lift to shut down at approximately 10:30 a.m. on Jan. 25.

Winter confirmed to the Summit Daily News on Sunday that the lift is again operational.

“Thanks to our incredible lift maintenance team for getting things back up and running, and to our guests for your patience and stoke this weekend,” the resort stated on social media.
