Update: Summit Fire & EMS says wildfire in Frisco not expected to grow overnight
Officials suspect fire was human-caused

Summit Fire & EMS and Red, White & Blue Fire Protection District firefighters have successfully limited the growth of a wildfire near the Whole Foods in Frisco, according to a Summit Fire & EMS Facebook post. No structures are currently threatened by the fire, which was first reported around 5 p.m. Saturday. The post states that the agency does not expect the fire, which is estimated to be around 6.3 acres and contained to town of Frisco property, to grow overnight.
The fire is suspected to have been human-caused, and an investigation is underway, according to Summit Fire & EMS.
Update 7:10 p.m.
Summit Fire & EMS and Red, White & Blue Fire Protection District units are continuing to respond to the wildfire, according to a Facebook post by Summit Fire & EMS. The fire was reported around 5 p.m. Interstate 70 eastbound remains closed between Exit 201 at Frisco and Exit 205 near Silverthorne, according to CoTrip.org.

Summit Fire & EMS is responding to a wildfire that is blazing Saturday afternoon, May 10, in Frisco town limits near Whole Foods, just off Interstate 70.
Summit Fire & EMS public information officer Steve Lipsher said units are currently responding to the fire, but does not have any further information at this time.
