Summit High School hosts first of the Breckenridge Festival of Film movies

FARMER’S KORNER ” The local film festival officially kicks off on Thursday with two premieres, aka Hollywood films. Those early in attendance to the children’s flick “Surf’s Up” can get movie schwag, including hats and T-shirts.

– Thursday at 4 p.m. at Summit High School

Children’s Animated Film: A behind-the-scenes look at the annual Penguin World Surfing Championship, and its newest participant, up-and-comer Cody Maverick (LaBeouf). Features voices of Shia LaBeouf and Jeff Bridges. Animated Comedy. Tickets are $5. Opens in theaters Friday.

-Thursday at 7 p.m. at Summit High School

Chaos ensues when a man tries to expose a dark secret regarding a recently deceased patriarch of a dysfunctional British family. Comedy. 90 minutes. Tickets are $10. Opens in theaters June 29.
