Summit Historical Society hosting 12th annual Holiday Bazaar and auction
On Saturday, Nov. 22, the Summit Historical Society will be hosting the 12th annual Holiday Bazaar.
Taking place at Summit High School from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., the tradition will give the community the chance to partake in holiday shopping, local artistry and giving back. This year, the celebration will expand with an online silent auction from Friday, Nov. 14, through Friday, Nov. 21.
The event is expected to offer everything from stained glass, fine wood and fiber art, handcrafted jewelry, pottery, photography and soaps to gourmet food gifts, clothing and holiday decor.
Attendees can also look forward to special drawings and an in-person auction featuring local businesses and holiday gifts. The Summit Historical Society will also have a collection of published books for participants to explore.
The online auction will open at midnight Friday, Nov. 14, and will close at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 21. Every bid directly supports Summit Historical Society’s preservation and education programs.
