Summit Historical Society receives Colorado Humanities grants

DILLON — The Summit Historical Society received two grants from Colorado Humanities. The state humanities council awarded a total of $405,984 as part of coronavirus aid and the local historical society received $9,030. There were 200 total applicants.

In addition to the relief grant, Colorado Humanities started a social media challenge to award more money. With around 7,900 views, the Summit Historical Society placed in the top 10 out of 66 submissions and won $2,500.
