Summit Interfaith Council to resume People’s Supper events
After some time apart, the Summit Interfaith Council is ready to bring people back together over a shared meal. Members of the public are invited to a free potluck called The People’s Supper on the third Thursday of the month through the summer at various locations.
The events are aimed to get people talking and connecting to one another regardless of their culture, religion or politics. The first supper will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, June 16, at Lord of the Mountains Lutheran Church 56 U.S. Highway 6 in Dillon.
Also happening at 6 p.m., the rest of the summer schedule is as follows:
- July 21 at the Summit County Community and Senior Center, 83 Nancy’s Place in Frisco
- Aug. 18 at Dillon Community Church, 371 La Bonte St. in Dillon
- Sept. 22 at Our Lady of Peace, 89 Smith Ranch Road in Silverthorne
