Summit Rotary announces Ice Melt winners

For the second time in the 21-year history of the Summit County Rotary Club Ice Melt Contest, the tie break temperature was used to determine the winners of the contest. Four people guessed the same second place time of May 2 at 12:30:30. The official time clock stopped is 12:27:42. According to the weather station at the Denver Water Board in Dillon, the high temperature in Dillon on May 2 was 59 degrees. First place: $2,000, Jamie Cripps, Silverthorne, May 2, 12:30:15 Second Place: $750, Mike Miller, Silverthorne, May 2, 12:30:30, 58 degreesThird Place: $500, Courtney Biebel, Dillon, May 2, 12:30:30, 65 degrees
