Summit Rotary Club calls for ice princess candidates

Daily News staff report

As an ice princess candidate, you are asked to collect as many votes for yourself as possible. For a valid vote, you need $1 for every vote. The ice princess candidate with the most money (most votes) will be crowned the 2013 Summit County Rotary Ice Princess.

Ice princess candidates are nominated by local residents, Rotarians or themselves. The Rotary Ice Princess Committee will select six candidates.

Submit a picture and short bio (maximum 200 words about why you would like to be an ice princess candidate) to Ann Morrison Clement at aclement@vail.net. Contact Clement if you have any questions about being an ice princess candidate.

Applicants must be 18 years old or older, live in Summit County or own a business in Summit County, be willing to attend Ice Melt and community events and be recognized in the community as a participant.
