Summit School District provides update on its pre-collegiate program
Summit County School District will be celebrating its Summit Pre-Collegiate program’s 15 anniversary on Dec. 14.
Since its inception, the program has doubled enrollment, now serving over 250 students, representing 14% of all secondary students in the Summit School District. Over 500 first-generation graduates have turned their college aspirations into reality with the program’s support.
The program was recognized by the University of Colorado as one of the top pre-collegiate programs in the state.

Summit Daily is embarking on a multiyear project to digitize its archives going back to 1989 and make them available to the public in partnership with the Colorado Historic Newspapers Collection. The full project is expected to cost about $165,000. All donations made in 2023 will go directly toward this project.
Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a difference.
