Summit School District seeks volunteers for ‘Celebrations Around the World’
The Silverthorne Pavilion and Summit School District are seeking volunteers representing a variety of ethnic backgrounds to host a booth for “Celebrations Around the World” on Nov. 18. The mission of the event is to share the clothing, language, money, food and other aspects of different cultures and countries with fourth- and fifth-graders from Summit’s elementary schools. The event is open to the public in the evening to share this global perspective with our community. Volunteers will be provided with a stipend to purchase supplies and food. For additional info, contact Christine at (970) 262-7390, or by e-mail at CMahorney@Silverthorne.org.
