Summit School District to dedicate media center to longtime teacher today

FRISCO – The Summit School District will honor the late Denise Oaks-Moffett by dedicating the Summit High School Media Center in her name. The ceremony will take place today from 3:30-5 p.m. at Summit High School.

Oaks-Moffett passed away last year after a two-year battle with cancer. She spent the final years of her 21-year teaching career

as an English teacher and curriculum coordinator at Summit High School.
