The Summit School District has announced that schools will reopen as regularly scheduled on Friday, unless there are poor weather conditions at dawn.

If conditions turn at 6 a.m. but are expected to clear up quickly, there will be a two-hour delay. If conditions are expected to stay the same or worsen, classes will be canceled. Parents are advised to check for announcements at 6 a.m. to confirm delay or cancellation.

Schools were closed on Thursday due to dangerous conditions triggering multiple avalanches across the High Country.
