Ryan Spencer/Summit Daily News
On Sunday, April 20, Summit Telemark will host its inaugural Summit Telemark Festival at Arapahoe Basin Ski Area.
Being held in conjunction with A-Basin’s Save Our Snow Sustainability Party, a fundraiser for High Country Conservation Center, the event will include telemark demos, a silent auction, group skiing and apres-ski activities.
Demos will be available from AMR and Bishop Telemark. The demo village costs $10 for unlimited demos. AMR, 22 Designs and Voile are also providing telemark hard goods as part of the silent auction. All proceeds will benefit High Country Conservation Center.
Summit Telemark recently formed to promote and organize telemark events in and around Summit County. The group meets on Tuesday evenings for social events and planning.
Watch for future announcements at SummitTelemark.org or in the calendar of events section of the Summit Daily News.
