Summit Up 1-4-13: Waiting for some freshies

Special to the Daily

Good morning and welcome to Summit Up, the world’s only daily column that’s waiting for some freshies again. Don’t get us wrong. We enjoyed the holidays up here, appreciated all the peeps who came to celebrate with us and kick-started the Summit economy and all, but now that most of them have returned, we’re ready for the Norse god of snow, Ullr, to bless us with as much pow as he can muster up in honor of the 50th anniversary and all, starting on Sunday over in “The Kingdom.”

If you haven’t been to it before, or even if you go every year, be sure to check out the Ullr parade and all the accompanying festivities that go along with the annual event. Things get started on Sunday with the crowning of the king and queen. Peace out.
