Good morning and welcome to Summit Up, the world’s only daily column that wants to share some cute doggie photos with you today.Ruth Drew sent in a photo of her dog, Lucy, making a doggy angel in the snow in the National Forest behind their condo in Wildernest. She writes, “When Lucy isn’t frolicking in the snow, she’s a pet visitation dog at Littleton Adventist Hospital. She’s not a life saver like Danelle Ballengee’s dog, Taz, but she definitely is a life enhancer!”

And switching from doggie angels to a canine Angel Alert!! Angel Alert!! Bandit is the other dog pictured somewhere on this page, chillin’ on some pillows. His anonymous owner is extremely grateful and wanted to send out his thanks.”I would like to thank the lady who found my dog Bandit Saturday afternoon. By the time we saw her walking him Sunday morning she had already put up found dog posters around Frisco. Bandit is a great dog and we were very worried. Thank you very much and many cold frosty mugs to you.”

***Moving on, we have a Smarty Pants Alert!! for two University of Vermont students from Silverthorne who made the Dean’s List.

Congratulations to sophomore Joshua Mannheimer, a physics major, and freshman Robert Paulus, a business administration major. To be named to the Dean’s Lists, students must have a grade-point average of 3.0 or better and rank in the top 20 percent of their class in their college or school.***We out, consuming tasty treats.
