Summit Up

Summit County, CO Colorado
Special to the Daily Doe Shively relayed this message, "Hi, I'm Jack, the official greeter at the Silverthorne Information Center and have been for seven years. I'm leaving the county with my family, Milt and Doe, and my cat, Millie. I want to say goodbye to all my many friends in Summit County, Colorado, and yes, the U.S. people who have met me stop in just to say "hi" to me!I'm also a therapy dog and want to say a special thanks and goodbye to everyone at the Timberline Adult Day (Services) where I've been visiting for two years. Come see me down in Erie - I'll be working somewhere!"

Good morning and welcome to Summit Up, the world’s only daily column sticking with the strategy for this here paper.

See, with all that’s going on around town this weekend – the weekend BBQ challenge, Kingdom Days, stuff at Copper, and it’s Father’s Day to top it all off! – we loaded this edition with tons of great photos from sharpshooters Mark Fox and Eric Drummond.

In keeping the trend, we bring you a dumptruck full of pics sent in by you – our intrepid readers.

Ahhh, what would we do without ye, the digital camera …

We out, selfishly feeling visual.
