Summit Up

Good morning and welcome to Summit Up, the world’s only daily column sharing our latest fav web toy. It’s the Wheel of Lunch (picture us saying this in a voice like Bob Barker). And if you haven’t checked it out, you should. Just go to

Basically it works like this: You put in your zip code and what meal you are looking for (i.e. breakfast, lunch or dinner) and spin the wheel. Where it lands is where you eat. Or, if you’re feeling particularly bored, create your own wheel with restaurants of your choice.Just don’t cheat the wheel! If it tells you to eat somewhere, you better obey. It knows where you live.

So, next time you are sitting at your desk pondering the usual options, grab a hold of the Wheel of Lunch and let it take you to a new destination. Or just take spins for fun. Whatever. ***

Moving on, we have an Angel and Birthday Alert!! from Paul to his wife. How sweet! He writes, “I would like to send out an Angel Alert to my wonderful wife and best friend. On Saturday, June 23rd, Gail Schaefer turns 50 years young. She is the owner of Round the Mountain Shop in Frisco. So, if you are out on Main Street in Frisco on Saturday, stop in and wish her a Happy Day. I love you sweetheart, and I cannot wait to celebrate our 30th loving year in August.”

***We out, spinning the wheel for Denver restaurants and scouring thrift stores in the city.
