Summit Up 3-25-13: March madness doesn’t end with basketball

Good morning and welcome to Summit Up, the world’s only daily column that is of the opinion they are trying to mash too many holidays and major cultural events into the same two weeks. We are barely halfway through the St.-Patrick’s Day-beginning-of-spring-March-Madness-spring-break-Passover-Easter marathon the calendar dudes have cooked up for us this year and we’re already starting to get tired of all the parties.

Summit Up: That’s right. We said it, and we meant it. It’s like two weeks in Vegas or having cake for all three meals: too much of a good thing people! We find ourselves thinking fondly of the good old Tuesdays of the past, when we just went about our boring lives and didn’t have to stay up half the night drinking green beer or coloring hard-boiled eggs.

MSUR: We don’t follow you.

SU: Oh, never mind. On a less Grinchy note, here’s a cute little baby who was born recently! Congratulations to lucky mom and dad Chad and Kelly Keith of Alma, who welcomed a bouncing baby boy named Cameron Augustus Keith. The little future shredder was born at Heart of the Rockies Regional Meidcal Center’s Family Birthing Center on March 19 at 1:53 p.m, at a hearty 7 pounds 15 ounces and 20.5 inches long. Lucky guy has a big family of grandparents and even great-grandparents all over the country. Congrats to the whole family.

Well folks, that’s about all we’ve got pre-heated (we can’t cook) up for you today. Check back in tomorrow for some more less-than-newsy goofiness and some good pics as well. Good night, and good luck.
