Good morning and welcome to Summit Up, the world’s only daily column that is highly combustible. Don’t put us near any heat sources; if you’re hot, keep your distance. We’re not safe around sparks.

See, we splashed a smelly bath of gasoline all over ourselves while filling up at Farmer’s Korner Saturday. It was almost like a scene from Zoolander.

Then we brought an offending odor with us into the office. One coworker thought we said we smelled like another odorous thing that rhymes with gas, but without the “g.”

No, but we did stink.

The fuel had soaked our pants and shirt cuffs, and unfortunately, the rule about wearing pants in the office kept us clothed in the fumy garments.

It’s Sunday, so that means it’s time for the Where In Summit Up Land Is This? Contest! You should see two pictures on the page today. If you know where these shots are, send us the answer, along with your name and phone number. We’re looking at three more weeks of the contest, and then we’ll announce our winners – the top three with the most correct answers (assuming ties don’t mess that plan up).

And, since it is church-goin’ day, we’ll hereby start taking your confessions at

summitup@summitdaily.

com or fax at (970) 668-0755, and we promise not to print any of it, unless you leave it on the voicemail at (970) 668-3998, ext. 237.

We out, wringing our pants into our gas tank.
