Summit Up

Good morning and welcome to Summit Up, the world’s only daily column here to bring you the angels, then vanish into the smoky air from whence we came.

Some of you, then, must have been prescient enough to guess an Angel Alert!! Angel Alert!! was forthcoming. It forthcame from Debbie Black of Quality Quick Print:

“My 15-year-old daughter, Mandy, was riding her Go-Ped (motorized scooter) to work at Keystone along the bike path, when she hit a rock, lost control and crashed.

“Jeanie from Texas came upon Mandy laying on the ground and stopped to help. Then, another lady also rode up and stopped. The second lady stayed with Mandy while Jeanie rode back to Summit Cove to get her car. By the time Jeanie got back to drive Mandy to Summit Medical Center in Frisco, another man had also stopped, and he and the second lady helped Mandy walk over to Jeanie’s car on the highway and loaded her Go-Ped and stuff in the car. I was working in Frisco and met Jeanie at the hospital.

“To three wonderful angels – and especially Jeanie – thank you from a thankful mom.

We’re out. We hear this is one of those kinds of days when Bryan Ferry gets in your eyes S
