'We were in Costa Rica and Panama and meant to send this picture a while ago. We are all so proud to live in Summit County and wanted to show it by bringing the Daily with us just like all the other proud residents that have done so before us. Thank you for your time, best regards.' Thanks for the pic and pura vida gang.

Good morning and welcome to Summit Up, the world’s only daily column stuck in Summit while wishing we were in Costa Rica. Although according to this sweet pic above, the Central American country mirrors the demographics of this here fine spot stuck dab in the middle of the Rocky Mountains. Five dudes and a girl. Seems a bit lopsided don’tcha think.

We jest, of course, we love CR and the sweet peeps who send us shots from their vacays. One of our favorite Costa Rican spots is somewhere on the Nicoya Peninsula, we also think a country without a military is kinda cool. Unless you need one.

Tight li’l package today folks. We out.
