On Wednesday, Oct. 19, U.S. Ski and Snowboard announced the 43 athletes that will make up the U.S. Alpine ski team for the 2022-23 winter season.

The women’s Alpine A team will include seven-time World Cup podium finisher Breezy Johnson, Paula Moltzan, Edward’s Nina O’Brien and two-time Olympic champion and six-time world champion Mikaela Shiffrin.

2022 Olympic silver medalist Ryan Cochran-Siegle, Bryce Bennett, Tommy Ford, Travis Ganong, Steven Nyman and Edward’s River Radamus will make up the men’s U.S. Alpine A team.

The Alpine B team will consist of four athletes from Colorado including Vail’s Allie Resnick, Aspen’s Bridger Gile, Littleton’s Kyle Negomir and Steamboat Springs’ Jett Seymour.

Team Summit’s Camden Palmquist will spearhead the men’s Alpine C team. Originally from Eagan, Minnesota, Palmquist will return to the U.S. Alpine ski team after training and competing with the National Development Group in Italy last winter.

Palmquist is joined by Cooper Puckett of Steamboat and Ava Sunshine Jemison of Edwards.

The D team is made up of Vail’s Kaitlyn Keane, Kjersti Moritz and Emma Resnick. Boulder’s Storm Klomhaus and Thorton’s Dasha Romanov will also be members of the D team.

The U.S. Alpine ski team will kick off the season with a weekend of giant slalom competition in Soelden, Austria from Saturday, Oct. 22, to Sunday, Oct. 23.
