Summit’s movers and shakers

Reader Ellen Buras spotted this moose near her home in Dillon.

Spring is an interesting time in Summit County, as the animals awake and begin to venture closer to town, the people generally close up shop and venture further from town. This is the case with these reader photos as we see more and more wildlife on the hunt, and more people on vacation.

This week readers submitted photos from Machu Pichu, Peru and Cozumel, Mexico as well as many shots of the furry friends in their backyards. Animal sightings seem to have increased greatly over the past couple weeks with more moose espcially meandering through town.
