Sunday’s dessert sleigh ride benefits Domus Pacis

DAILY NEWS STAFF REPORT

On Sunday, Copper Mountain Stables will be hosting a benefit dessert sleigh ride for Domus Pacis Family Respite. All the proceeds from this event will go toward Domus Pacis’ mission of providing families impacted by cancer a much-needed week of rest and peace in Summit County’s High Country.

The moon-lit evening will include a horse-drawn sleigh ride through the Tenmile Range Valley, steaming hot cocoa served with a large selection of homemade goodies eaten next to the wood-burning stove in the cozy outpost tent while being entertained by local guitarist Becky May.

The event begins at 6:30 p.m. at Copper Mountain Stables and costs $75 per person. Due to the limited number of seats, call for reservations at (970) 968-2232.
