Suspect in the Ptarmigan burglaries turns himself in

SUMMIT COUNTY – The suspect in a string of burglaries in the Ptarmigan neighborhood near Silverthorne turned himself in last Thursday, according to the Summit County Sheriff’s Office.Raymond Arrestouilh, 21, turned himself into the Summit County Jail, and was charged with second-degree burglary, which is a class 3 felony, punishable by four to 12 years in prison and fines from $3,000 to $750,000.The district attorney’s office issued an arrest warrant for Arrestouilh on Dec. 21, after police searched Arrestoulih’s home and found several of the stolen items inside.More than $1,500 cash and small electronics were taken from five homes – at least two of which were unlocked – in the Ptarmigan subdivision on Dec. 5.Arrestouilh is being held on $15,000 bond an remained in the Summit County Jail as of Sunday afternoon.An initial court date has been set for Feb. 14.
