Suspicious men warned at high school

FARMER’S KORNER – Sheriff’s deputies arrested one man and warned two others Monday after Summit High School staff called the Sheriff’s Office to report suspicious men on the school campus.

School officials told the Summit County Sheriff’s Office school resource officer stationed at the high school that the suspicious individuals had been spotted previously at the school. According to a press release from the sheriff’s office, the suspicious men were linked to a Summit High student who was arrested April 15 in connection with possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia with intent to distribute.

The Sheriff’s Office identified the men as James Keller, 20, of Frisco; Jamison Wold, 26, of Dillon; and Joseph Seno Jr., 35, of Keystone.

Keller claimed to be the boyfriend of the arrested student, a 16-year-old female.

Deputies issued Keller and Seno a no-

trespassing warning at the request of school officials and released the men.

Deputies arrested Wold on outstanding warrants for failure to pay fines for carrying a concealed weapon without a permit and failure to appear on a charge from Breckenridge Municipal Court. Wold remained in the Summit County Jail Tuesday with a combined bond set at $503.

Summit Schools Superintendent Wes Smith said Tuesday that such incidents are isolated.

“It happens every once in a while,” Smith said. “We feel good about the fact we have a (school resource officer), and the staff is always quick to report such things.”
