Sustainable business conference seeks sponsors

SUMMIT COUNTY ” The High Country Conservation Center and the Summit Independent Business Alliance are teaming up to host a sustainable business conference in June, with a focus on identifying strategies to thrive during tough economic times.

Slated for June 22, the one-day session will feature presentations by State Rep. Christine Scanlan, Pioneer Sports owner Mark Wimberly and representatives from the state energy office.

According to a press release, the conference will give local businesses the tools and information needed to strengthen their organizations and create a more sustainable Summit County.

Organizers are looking for businesses to sponsor the conference at different levels.
