Swan Mountain Road cleaning, A-Basin party

Residents of Summit Cove and members of the local Forest Service friends group are invited to join a Saturday cleanup along Swan Mountain Road.

The cleanup will be canceled if it snowed Friday night.

Friends of the Dillon Ranger District has adopted the three-mile section from Summit Cove Sapphire Point, mostly crossing public national forest land.

Summit County Road and Bridge will provide orange road signs, orange vests, orange trash bags, orange safety cones, and orange flagging Bring work gloves if you have them.

Burgers, brats, and hotdogs provided afterward at an A-Basin party after the cleanup, near the Molly Hogan chair.
